MALE VOCALIST needed immediately for recording session work.


REQUIREMENTS:

You must be able to sing both Pop/Rock and Progressive Rock.

Pop / Rock: Similar to Nickelback, Cheap Trick, Foo Fighters, U2, Jimmy Eat World and,

Progressive Rock: Similar to Yes, Rush, Dream Theatre

You must be professional, dependable, have good intonation, excellent pitch and timing, and able to learn songs quickly.   


You will be paid $100 per song and record 20-25 songs. Ideally you will be able to sing 2-3 songs within a 1-2 week period.


You will be provided with a version of the song, lyrics and a cd with the instrumental version of the songs to practice to. You are required to sing the songs exactly as directed. No improvisation or personal interpretation of the songs is needed.


The recording will take place in the Eglinton / Bathurst area. Should you already work with an engineer and prefer to work with him/her that can be arranged provided a wave file, 16 bit-44.1hz, can be supplied.

BIO:

He is a winner of the SOCAN Composer’s Award for his orchestral work. He was a scholarship student at the prestigious Eastman School of Music and Manhattan School of Music. He has worked with Pulitzer Prize winning composers Christopher Rouse and Joseph Schwantner, as well as eminent composers Samuel Adler, Warren Benson, Richard Danielpour and Robert Morris. In the last two years, he has completed the film scores to twelve films, including three features. He has also done the music for the television magazine shows “SPY GAMES” and Sports Compact TV.
