IndieSolo.com, operating under EyeShout Media Inc. guarantees your email will only be used for internal marketing purposes that relate to this site or our group of sites. Your personal information such as but not limited to, email, name, address will not be sold, released or traded to other companies.

We do not collect personally identifiable information about you on this site without your knowledge, and all such information is collected directly from you. For example, we may ask you to provide your e-mail address, name, mailing address, or other information about yourself in order to participate in contests or forums, to be added to the list to receive e-mail updates on particular artists, or types of music, to send so-called “postcards” or to conduct transactions elsewhere on the site. You are not required to provide us with this information, but if you choose not to, you may not be able to participate in some of the activities on this site.

If you are a musician that is applying to be featured on indieSolo.com for a day, and you application is approved, your profile will be made public. As you know, IndieSolo is designed to allow musicians to post photographs, videos, slideshows, their music, and other personal information about themselves for public review and comment. Accordingly, by submitting your band’s online marketing collateral such as photograph and videos, and/or any personal information, you thereby waive any privacy expectations you have with respect to our use of your likeness or personal information provided to us. If you do not wish to have your picture, video, or information about yourself or your band viewed by or disclosed to others, do not use our Service or indieSolo.com Web Site.

We use the information we collect from you to allow you to participate in the site activities for which the information is collected. For example, when you give us your e-mail address in order to join an artist’s fan club that address is added to our e-mail list and is shared with that artist. If you don’t want that artist receiving your email, do not join their fan club. Similarly, if you provide us your email to receive indieSolo Band of the Day Alerts, Press Releases and blog updates but not limited to, we will add your email to our list. On each e-mail you receive, you are given the opportunity to unsubscribe; once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive such e-mails.

For contests conducted on this site, we use the personal information you provide only for the purpose of contacting you if you win a prize and sending the prize to you.

Personal information collected on this site may be shared with those with whom we contract to operate this site (for example, to send you a promotional item that you have requested on the site). These contractors have agreed with us to use personal information of site visitors only for the purposes of carrying out these operations.
