Scorching across the international musical landscape is YOUTHINASIA. Arguably the best independently established band Canada has ever seen. Ignited by "Premature Erockulation", YIA's third release on their own nationally distributed label Dick Rawk Records, the band is ready to boil over.
On the heals of a successful eastcoast tour, sponsored by YIA's own ARC Cloathing company, the guys are staying busy touring Canada and the NorthEast U.S. A national publicity campaign is currently underway and coincides with the release of "Premature Erockulation" and upcoming tour dates. Media targets will include national and regional television, daily newspapers, weekly entertainment papers, monthly music and lifestyle publications, campus newspapers and radio. The video for "Jimmy Beaner" has been has been serviced to video outlets and has already received play on both Much Music and Musique Plus. Follow up videos for "Free" and "The Deadline" are planned for fall and winter releases.
While remaining true to their Canadian heritage YIA has always funtioned on a grand and almost unimaginable scale. A strong international presence with national label/distro deals in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile has seen the bands previous release, "E.P." explode over seas with unprecedented sales and media attention. The gas has been poured and the match has been lit. YOUTHINASIA is on fire.
