Story Behind our Band Name

Born in 1999, the band was originally called Distrust. After a few shows James that was then the main singer came up with the name Tears From The Sky and thought the name reflected the sound of the band a lot more than Distrust was. Sadly, in 2000, James committed suicide and left the band in a tragic way. The remaining members then chose to continue with the name in the memory of their lost friend.
