Bio
Take 21 members, Chris Bancroft (Guitar/ Vocals), Michael Holmes (Vocals/ Guitar), Andrew Sax (drums) and Jordan Bergman (Bass/Vocals) have created a band known for their energetic, live performances.
Formed in 2005 when they were only 15 years old, Take 21 have now finished high school and all just turned 17. Their influences are mainly drawn from the Pop/Punk and Rock genres. Take 21 have recently finished recording at Blackbox Studios, with Jeff Lovejoy (Powderfinger, Regurgitator and Resin Dogs), the single was mixed by triple A.R.I.A. award winning producer, Magoo. The E.P. was then mastered at Sterling Studios in Los Angeles, by Justin Shturtz (Fall Out Boy & My Chemical Romance).
With the recent support for Fall Out Boy in March 2007 at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Take 21 made a comfortable step to this level of show and gained a new legion of fans. This was endorsed with the announcement of scoring the main support slot for Canadian rockers Billy Talent at the Arena, Fortitude Valley Brisbane on 24 April. Most recently, Take 21 supported The Used nationally on their sold out Australian promo tour.
Take 21 have appeared on the syndicated National Radio show – "The Local" doing acoustic version of their single 'Be Warned'. The release date of their debut EP 'Nothing is Real' is set to be late September.
