sleddogs is all about work ethic, growing up in Winnipeg and being influenced by a great deal of Canadian musicians. The name was derived from a bitter cold road experience several tours ago...one of those dreaded breakdowns on the Trans Canada in December...the first blizzard of the year on the Prairies...cold and exhausted, huddled in the van together we waited for help. eventually we were picked up by a trucker and dropped off at a Husky station flying a shredded Canadian flag, no doubt from the 100km winds...the sleddog name was born that instant over gas station coffee.... somewhere in a Manitoba whiteout.
