R-O-A Rise of Abundance

Bio
REVIEW BY DEACON, A TORONTO MUSIC JOURNALIST FOR TOONAGE MAGAZINE - FEB. 19/07
Ajax, Ontario bred metalheads Rise of Abundance (R-O-A) put the sound barrier to the test, smashing their way through your eardrums. R-O-A leave no room for disappointment. Singer/songwriter Ryan Woods (w0oDzY) looks for ways to bring originality to each song, using catchy hooks and lyrical content that actually means something. The brilliance of taking the emotional make-up from 90's alternative and the riffage of nu-metal, creates a metal-form allowing not only the youth of today to connect to, but also the musicians and music lovers of 10 years ago.
After they've invited listeners with catchy intros, they can easily keep them with lyics such as, "It makes no difference, no matter what you say." (Your Fault). Making a connection with listeners can be difficult. R-O-A don't seem to have a problem with that.
Along with bands such as Alexisonfire and System of a Down, R-O-A have utilized the 2 singer format. With singer Royal's blistering voice, and wOoDzY's melodic tones, these guys are joining the ranks of bigger than life bands.
I see a great musical career ahead of them. With a record label backing Rise of Abundance they could have a long career, with a loyal fan base. I'll be watching for releases and looking to catch live performances!
