Story Behind our Band Name

So the guys who would become Oswald, armed with nothing, stood at a train station on their way to The Jury's Hotel in Glasgow for entry into Emergenza. On the way they desperately tried to come up with a name for the band. While walking down to the Emergenza meeting the band had to make their way through Oswald Street in Glasgow's city centre which is about 5 mins from The Jury's Hotel. "It was a smash'n'grab job" says Tom, "we just saw the street sign, thought the word looked good written down"
