Story Behind our Band Name

One of Opus Road's most recognized and popular songs called 'understand', wasn't originally planned to be recorded before their first demo in 2006. But the night before, the boys decided to go ahead with recording it but at the time had no name. The engineer suggested 'Opus'. Boys said no. But instead, made it their new band name, and called the song 'understand. After adding 'Road'; 'Opus Road' became a catchy suitable band name for the college boys as they toured around southern Ontario.
