One day when we were driving around, we saw a sign that read "Firma Philips". So we decided to name our band Filipps Firma. "Firma" means company or firm in German, and isn't being in a band a bit like being an entrepreneur? You have a product (music) that you want to sell (playing shows) to your customers (fans) and you will have to put a lot of time, heart and effort into it if you want to be successfull.
