Story Behind our Band Name

I first saw the words Dust and Blood while reading the book Atlas Shrugged by one of my favorite authors; Ayn Rand. At the time it made so much sense to me in terms of song writing and life in general. The idea of waking up certain days and feeling worthless, without hope and then other days feeling like the blood that gives the veins of this world life.. It was such an interesting dichotomy to me. It made perfect sense in terms of the music we make & the lyrics being written. Joe Gregory
