| Bal-Vinder Core
|Bal-Vinder Core started as a cover band, doing small pub gigs around Bridgend. The line-up consists of 4 members, Scott Sutherland on lead vocals, Gavin Thomas on the drums; and after recruiting Daniel Vine on bass and Rhys Edwards on lead guitar, the band took a more creative approach to song-writing, coming up with some catchy riffs and memorable lyrics about love, hate, war and politics making them a highly talked about band around South Wales and also MySpace. Their influences are varied from the likes of Green Day and Incubus to other bands like Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold. |
Demand for copies and downloads of the tracks increased substantially over the past 3 months, with their Internet audience growing from less than a few hundred to nearly 10,000 all over the world. This has been crucial to their motivation and seeing all the positive feedback flood in on a daily basis has driven them to work hard keep chasing that deal. They have played all over South Wales spreading their sound and message and have always been asked back again for more shows. The band has also been featured on podcasts and radio broadcasts such as the Jam n' Jay show and local Radio stations such as BridgeFM.
"With such exciting performances, you can't fail to sit up and take notice" - Sam Birt, Glamorgan Gazette
They have just got out of the Studio and November, Bal-Vinder Core's 6-track CD is now available with a portion of our sales going to the charity for war heroes "Help For Heroes"!
